Your Kenyan safari adventure begins early in the morning. At approximately 05:00 hrs, meet your Travelwild representative, who will brief you about the safari and the journey ahead. Depart Nairobi and begin your scenic drive towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through the town of Narok. En route, you may stop at a suitable location for breakfast, payable directly. Continue your journey through the changing landscapes of Kenya, with the scenery gradually transforming from urban surroundings to rolling hills, open grasslands, and traditional Maasai settlements. The Maasai Mara is one of Kenya's most spectacular wildlife destinations and is renowned for its remarkable concentration of wildlife. The reserve is home to an incredible variety of animals and more than 450 species of birds. During your safari, keep an eye out for some of Africa's most iconic wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs, and a diverse range of antelopes and other hoofed animals. Upon arrival at the Maasai Mara, proceed to your lodge or camp for check-in and lunch. Take some time to relax and settle into your surroundings before heading out for your first exciting safari experience. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Explore the open plains and rolling landscapes in search of wildlife. Depending on the season and animal movements, you may encounter herds of elephants and buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and the famous big cats of the Mara. Return to your lodge after the game drive and enjoy the evening at leisure, surrounded by the natural beauty and atmosphere of the African wilderness. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
